Hedonism
In this thesis, I explored the very amorphous arena inhabited by hedonism and attempted to decipher the space that pleasure, happiness, and all of the related peripheral concepts reside. Implications for industrial design were drawn and theories for the hedonic process were formulated from this examination as well as from two studies conducted. Finally, a framework of guiding principles was distilled from the research for use in the process of creating hedonic goods. Installation at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle, Washington.
